Vin de Savoie-Ayze Gringet 'Les Alpes' 2007, Dom Belluard

My current favourite white wine. Gringet is the grape. Grown in the Arve valley between Geneva and Mont Blanc. Vineyards have been here since 13th Century. Organically produced (soon to be biodynamic) the wine combines beacon bright fruit with a Grand Cru Chablisesque palate and mineral finish. Wine as God intended.
